A multi-day attack on one of the largest consumer electronics providers in the world resulted in around 80 million accounts being compromised and huge interruption of service to their
customer base. The hack resulted in an outage of over 20 days.
Our client needed to be sure that its cloud infrastructure and code would not be susceptible to a similar attack.
The Client’s Challenge
This leader in digital entertainment wanted to validate and optimise the security of their cloud based network and connected devices.
Concerned that their internal teams were too close to the challenge, and that the pace of change in the Cyber Security environment may have created gaps in inhouse experience, the client wanted to make sure they had themselves and their customers covered.
